Poem#5 Haiku

Lucky Mandarin
An old woman gave
me a lucky mandarin,
it was delicious.

Blackberries
A season so sweet
a bowl of blackberries,
warming with the sun.

Daffodils
Yellow daffodils
golden porcelain tea cups,
little narcissus.

Eclipse
Catching glimpse of the
lunar eclipse, before the
clouds come swallow it.

Road Rage
Speeding through highways
flashing lights, fierce gestures from
furious divers.

 Music
Jazz and blues calming
my nerves, soothing my soul till
my mind drifts away.

  Road Kill
A dead animal
spread bloody across the road,
an end to his adventure.

  1. A great idea for a poem, your collection of ideas was really interesting in the way you combined all of these. Each Haiku was specific and to-the-point.

  2. Always nice and clear to the end,
except maybe the “Daffodils” poem, I don’t quite understand the image..it might need a connection between the three items cited, I’m not sure.

I really like the first one and the eclipse one,
and in Road rage I can almost see it, it’s very vivid,
    good job.
